Using Ursa Major as a Guide
to the Constellations 

The following information will help you to locate certain constellations.  In this lesson you will be using Ursa Major as a guide to find constellations in the northern sections of the sky.  The constellations of the northern sky do not go below the horizon.  They are visible every night of the year.
