1) D. Backström's Stereo Space Expander 1.0.1
Stereo Space Expander is designed to introduce a pseudo stereo effect to music recorded in mono wave files (uncompressed 8 or 16 bit). SSE works by applying different phase shifts to the low-, mid and high frequency components of the recorded sound. Internally, this is achieved by means of fast time-domain filtering. Feel free to download and install the program.
2) Image Enhance 3.2.4 with Drag & Drop is a free image editor for Windows 95 and later. It features support for bitmap and JPEG images, webcams, digital cameras and scanners. You can digitally enhance your images by applying different filters and effects, like sharpness, contrast, grayscale, invert, logaritmize, find edges, old photo and more. You can also design your own filters.
3) Soliton II (minor version 3.1) - A free sound editor. If you can't afford Sound Forge or Cool Edit, try this!
4) Surveillance Scan II is a free webcam surveillance app, with motion detection! Now with JPEG-support!
5) XORrior is a file encryption system using the simple - but, if used properly, powerful - XOR operator. If you use a (truly) random key file which is at least as big as the source file, the XOR encryption will be unbreakable. You can obtain truly random files by, for example, recording radio noise with your soundcard. Download here (272 kB). Back to Pseudo Solutions.
6) Scrambler is a free 92 bit encryption/decryption program, capable of providing resonable security for your secrets. Actually, it's based on matrix multiplication – if you know the elements of the matrix, you can invert the operation. In any other case, you can not (at least not generally). Download here (277 kB) or go back to Pseudo Solutions. If you find any bugs in this program, mail me at . (Download the older 1.0-compatible version here)
